Turning to the dashboard, we've grouped the Corona instruments around the speedmeter for ease of
visibility and incorporated a warming light panel to indicate such things as door open/forst catch and
"brake on" warning. The fuel gauge usefully continues to register the amount of fuel left even with the
ignition switched off, and incorporates a low-fuel warning light. Instrument lighting is rheostat-controlled.
The list of standardfeatures on the Corona is impressive. It includes a LW/MW push-button radio, with a rear
mounted aerial. Heated rear window with washer and wiper. Cigar lighter. Centre console.
Super accurate quartx clock. Triop meter.
Courtesy lights in the glove compartment and rear luggage area. Plus a very special courtesy light that comes
on not only when the door is opened, but stays on when the door is closed for around 10 seconds. It saves you
trouble searching for the ignition at night and is handy if you want to check the interior before you leave the
car for evening.
All the controls, such as the headlights, parking lights, turn signals, 2-speed plus intermittent wipers and washers
and rear windows wipe/wash are situated on stalks to the side of the steering column. Like the remote releases for the
tailgate and the fuelflap which are situated by the driving seat, they've been designed for easy operation,and are all
fitted as standard.
The Corona will keep you comfortable whatever the outside temparature. To help you stay cool on the hottest summer days,
we've gives you the luxury of air conditioning, fitted as standard. To help you keep winter at bay, there's a bi-level
heater which can allow cool air to come in from dashboard vents and warm air to emerge at feel level, and cool or warm air
from both where required. There's also a special air-mix mechanism which allows you to adjust the temperature freely.
We've fitted a defroster with side windows demisters.
