Under the honnet ther's a new 1770cc engine developed from the rally proved Celica unit, with automatic
choke, mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox with self-adjusting clutch, or 3-speed automatic gearbox.
It develops 86 bhp at 5400 rpm, and will take you from 0-60 mph in 14.6secs(15.0 Auto)with a top speed of 98.1
mph(91.7 Auto). The ride you'll get from the Corona is second to none, thanks to the suspecsion. There are MacPherson
struts at the front, complete with stabilizer bar for maximum roll dampening, and 4-link lateral rod coil spring suspension
at the back. A low centre of gravity, good weight distribution and long wheel-base all provide excellent handlingand stability.
Just by looking inside the Corona you get a good idea of its quality. The interiors is colour co-ordinated,roomy and spacious.
There are moquette fabric seats and cut pile carpets. Fabric covered door panels, and carpet in therear luggage deck.
To cutdown glare we have tinted all the glass area which has been maximised to give greter visibility.
Once inside, you'll realise just how much space for your legs, head and shoulders the Corona Liftback offers. Passengers can be
seated inthe backin comfort, with a load compartment cover to keep luggege out of general view. If you push both back seats down
(they fold separately as well), you can make use of 24.6 cu.ft. of space for those bulky loads.
The front seats are fully reclining. They support your shoulders, and the driver's seat has a 3-position lumber support adjuster
in the back rest. What's more the driver's seat has a three-position tilt adjuster to enable you to find exactly the right driving position
